Change of movie day: Green Ave Pictures is now Thursday 4th July. This month’s movie is ‘Book Club’. Come along and bring your friends one and all. Basket lunch, tea, coffee, milk and some sweeties. Price is $12.00 only.

Christmas in July: Father Christmas is awaiting for you to sign up for Christmas in July. So far, 40 people have signed up. We would like more of you to come along. Please sign up and remember, help is available if needed. $30.00 per head includes roast lunch, dessert, tea and coffee, cakes and nibbles and soft drinks. Bring your own wine and spirits, especially the Christmas ones! If you wish to make part payments, see Glenda, Angelina or Sue.

Used stamps: The Sisters of St Joseph have asked for used stamps. They sell them to make money for their schools in Timor, Leste and Peru. They are able to change student’s books into their own language and each child gets a book to learn their lessons. Let’s help with this great cause.

St.Vincent De Paul’s Winter Appeal 22/23 June 2019: Vinnies need your support to assist the poorest and most vulnerable in our society. Many of them are women struggling to keep their children in stable, affordable housing and to pay their bills. Federal income support payments are simply not enough and they have to turn to Vinnies and other charities to help with the shortfall. There will be a leaving collection after each of the weekend masses on 22/23 June. Envelopes are available in the church foyer and can be placed in the leaving collections after the masses, given to Father or to the Vinnies member, who will be available after each Mass. If you require a receipt don’t forget to put your name and address on the envelope. Envelopes are always available in the foyer of the church and donations can be made at any time. Clothes and bedding can be donated directly to the Vinnies shops. Food with a long expiry date is welcome. However money gives us greater flexibility in directing our help where it is most needed. Please help us to support the needy with your usual generosity. Remember “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, who will repay the good deed”. Proverbs 19:17.
